Junior Sous Chef Torquay
An involved and hands-on role focussed on ensuring that the delivery of excellent food service standards from the kitchen occurs consistently through out every shift. This is the first rung of management in our kitchens and an important role. You’ll find yourself quite quickly running a quiet shift so an appetite for learning and an ability to work under pressure to high standards is vital.
Enthusiasm, an eye for detail and a desire to constantly improve are what we’re looking for. You’ll be introduced to the financial management of the kitchen and through our development program will start to be exposed to management and leadership training to help you progress. Care over cooking, attention to detail, listening and learning and showing us the signs of maturity are what we are looking for from our next generation of Sous and Head Chefs.
