Originally built by a Victorian wine merchant, our Leicester bistrot offers a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere and is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a leisurely lunch or dinner.
Our ‘raison d’être’ is great value French cooking and seasonal menus. We like to combine French bistrot classics such as steak-frites, boeuf bourguignon and tarte au citron with our own take on regional favourites like tarte flambée, Bouillabaisse and paté de campagne. Our relaxed and friendly bistrots are the place to go for any occasion.

Bank Holiday Monday opening hours are the same as Sunday opening hours.
General Manager - Dan
At a young age Dan moved to Spain and straight from school, opened a small eatery with his parents. Moving back to the UK, he gained supervisory experience at Bella Italia and shortly after he joined our bistrot family as a waiter in April 2013. Dan then progressed to General Manager of our Leicester bistrot in January 2015.
Head Chef - Mutu
Mutu joined our bistrot family 7 years ago and is currently Head Chef at our Leicester bistrot. Before life at Bistrot Pierre, Mutu worked for 3 years on cruise ships and previously in a quaint French restaurant back home in Romania.
We have been visiting Pierre for a long time the meals are always very good, they seem to be getting even nicer, I just love the sauces you make I can't wait for my next visit.Robert Jarman via online feedback
