Located in the impressive surroundings of Plymouth’s Royal William Yard, our Plymouth bistrot is a unique place in which food and drink can be enjoyed in true French style.
Our ‘raison d’être’ is great value French cooking and seasonal menus. We like to combine French bistrot classics such as steak-frites, boeuf bourguignon and tarte au citron with our own take on regional favourites like tarte flambée, Bouillabaisse and paté de campagne. Our relaxed and friendly bistrots are the place to go for any occasion.
Our bistrot is situated in the New Cooperage building which opens up onto a large outdoor terrace with seating. This overlooks a magnificent lawn, upon which a local farmers’ market takes place on the first Sunday of every month.

Royal William Yard Harbour
Visit the visitor basin with berths available daily, weekly or monthly. Situated at the entrance of the River Tamar, this offers the visiting mariner the opportunity to have a gentle sail on the scenic river or a sea cruise around Plymouth's coastline.Click Here

General Manager - Emily
Emily grew up in America and has worked in hospitality since she was 16-years-old. She has a massive passion for food and really enjoys the customer-based aspects of working in and managing a restaurant. Moving back to the UK eight years ago, Emily joined our bistrot family in 2013 as a Bar Manager of our Plymouth bistrot. She quickly progressed through Front of House roles to General Manager.
Head Chef - Steve
After Steve completed his apprenticeship in London’s West End, he spent three years at Nodo in Madrid, before working on luxury cruise ships. He then joined our bistrot family in 2007, and is now the Head Chef of our Plymouth kitchen.
