Our Head Chefs take part in the creation of recipes and the preparation of advanced items, while assigning less complicated tasks to sous chefs and cooks. You ensure continued efficiency of the kitchen and production of consistent, quality food.
As the Sous Chef (Junior, Sous and Senior Sous) you will be responsible for running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and your primary job will also include supervising and coaching junior chefs to ensure they are working effectively. Providing consistently high quality food, along with hitting our targets are crucial factors in succeeding in this role, and you will work closely with the wider restaurant team, the General Manager and the front of house team to achieve this.
Chef de Partie
Chef de Partie (Demi, CDP and Senior CDPs) follow the guidance of the Sous Chef, ensuring that ingredients are readily available and are prepared in a scrupulously clean kitchen. You will help to maintain an atmosphere of friendly cooperation whilst also adhering to strict health and hygiene standards. The ability to multitask in a pressured environment is essential for this role.
As a Commis Chef, you will spend your days carrying out all kinds of food preparation under the supervision of the Chef de Partie (CDP). To succeed in this role, you must have a love of cooking, have high energy levels, good team working abilities and a positive attitude, along with a keen desire to learn. You will also need the ability to work split shifts in a fast paced, high pressured kitchen environment.
Kitchen Porter’s have a hands-on and incredibly faced paced role that’s highly challenging and rewarding. You will undertake a variety of tasks within the kitchen with an eye to progressing your career. This role is suitable for a committed individual who is extremely reliable, hardworking and who thrives on being busy.
