About you

  • As a team orientated, multi-skilled, experienced chef and working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and the Management Team in a high volume, fast paced, busy, buzzing, customer focused environment you will:
  • Be a Bistrot Pierre ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service and always working with our guest's memorable experience in mind  
  • Be ambitious, keen to learn and proactive in seeking out new opportunities for nurturing and building upon your existing skills and talent
  • Have a true passion for our fresh food products and make health and safety and food hygiene standards the priority
  • Confidently learn and perfect the creation of all our dishes, ensuring food is cooked and presented correctly, always to the agreed company specification
  • Be flexible and able to run all sections of the kitchen, undertaking and delivering all tasks and responsibilities to the expected company standard, as requested by The Management Team, Head Chef and / or Sous Chefs

About the role

  • We are looking for a Pub Manager who can motivate a team to provide a consistently high degree of customer care and service delivery at all times.
  • To ensure this consistent level of customer service you will need to achieve excellent staff retention. You will also need to keep up-to-date with current licensing legislation, ensure health and safety rules and, of course, ensure that the beer and wine are kept in good condition.
  • You will also undertake specific tasks and responsibilities given by the General Manager and encourage the culture to reflect the vision statement of ‘great value and delicious cooking in a buzzy atmosphere provided by a friendly and professional team enjoying themselves’.
  • This is a hands-on role that we think is both highly challenging and rewarding. Serving and looking after our customers is the primary function of our business - it is vital that we get the right personalities into our business and you must understand the notion of hospitality.
  • You will either have proven success as a Pub Manager, or you could have experience as a Pub Supervisor and be ready for your next career move.
