Overlooking the bay, located in the new award winning Abbey Sands complex, our new bistrot can seat almost 200 people, across two floors with an outdoor terrace.
Our ‘raison d’être’ is great value French cooking and seasonal menus. We like to combine French bistrot classics such as steak-frites, boeuf bourguignon and tarte au citron with our own take on regional favourites like tarte flambée, Bouillabaisse and paté de campagne. Our relaxed and friendly bistrots are the place to go for any occasion.
As well as a restaurant, our bistrot also features a lively bar where customers can relax and enjoy our varied and delicious bar menu, along with a wide range of cocktails, wine and drinks.

General Manager - Lee
Lee is a chef, cocktail bartender and restaurant manager with over 18 years experience working in bars and restaurants across the world. He recently returned from living and working in China where he helped open and manage a number of popular bars and restaurants in Beijing and Shenzhen.
Head Chef - Adrian
Adrian is a dedicated head chef, whose passion for food was first inspired in early childhood by home cooking and fresh produce from his grandfather’s farm and his mother’s career as a bakery chef. He’s been with the Bistrot family since 2008.
We had a superb table by the window, and were waited on by a delightful girl, she was attentive throughout the meal, and ready to help at any time. Our meals were excellent - well presented and delicious. Thank you, we will be back!Gill Ashcroft via customer feedback
