Be flexible and able to run all sections of the kitchen, undertaking and delivering all tasks and responsibilities to the expected company standard, as requested by The Management Team, Head Chef and / or Sous Chefs

Support your colleagues, ensuring good teamwork and a “joined up approach” always prevails

Assist in the training of the Commis Chefs, as and when required by the Head Chef and Sous Chefs

Demonstrate a good working knowledge and appreciation for the commercial factors impacted upon, in your day to day tasks and responsibilities

Encourage the highest standards across all areas (food, employee engagement, customer service, financial performance, health and safety)

Confidently learn and perfect the creation of all our dishes, ensuring food is cooked and presented correctly, always to the agreed company specification

Be flexible and able to run all sections of the kitchen, undertaking and delivering all tasks and responsibilities to the expected company standard, as requested by The Management Team, Head Chef and / or Sous Chefs

Support your colleagues, ensuring good teamwork and a “joined up approach” always prevails

Assist in the training of the Commis Chefs, as and when required by the Head Chef and Sous Chefs

Demonstrate a good working knowledge and appreciation for the commercial factors impacted upon, in your day to day tasks and responsibilities

About you

As the inspirational “hands on” leader of our kitchen team, working closely with the General Manager in a high volume, fast paced, busy, buzzing, customer focused environment you will:

  • Be instrumental in promoting and infiltrating a positive culture of passion and pride within the team
  • Instil a team shared value for delivering exceptional customer service and always working with our guest's memorable experience in mind  
  • Lead and manage a high performing team, nurturing skills, building confidence, promoting enthusiasm and developing an exceptional knowledge about our food offerings
  • Recruit, train and develop a team, who have the skills and attitude to be the best they can be
  • Be proud of our fresh food products and make health and safety and food hygiene standards a priority
  • Confidently learn and perfect the creation of all our dishes, ensuring food is cooked and presented correctly, always to the agreed company specification
  • Confidently manage orders, stock, invoices and food profit, in line with sales
  • Demonstrate a full commercial insight of the kitchen, with a strong understanding of all challenges concerning people, sales, marketing and profit
  • Encourage the highest standards across all areas (food, employee engagement, customer service, financial performance, health and safety)
