Pub Manager Stratford-upon-Avon

About us

Bistrot Pierre prides itself on preparing, cooking and serving provincial French dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients. And to ensure that our menus are as fresh as our dishes, we update them on a regular basis.

We already have a portfolio of 24 restaurants nationally, but we want even more people to be able to experience our delicious, wholesome food and so we have ambitious plans for expansion. For you, this means plenty of opportunity for career progression. All you need to bring to the table is a passion for self-growth and a willingness to learn. We’ll then provide you with the appropriate training and the opportunities for career advancement.
And as if that wasn’t enough we have recently had it confirmed, via our extensive staff survey, that we are a great place to work, with a strong team spirit where our teams are supported by great managers. A good work-life balance is an added bonus.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, customer-focused and committed team players who are also ambitious and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer experience special. Along with being hardworking you will be eager to learn and progress your career.

About the role

  • We are looking for a Pub Manager who can motivate a team to provide a consistently high degree of customer care and service delivery at all times.
  • To ensure this consistent level of customer service you will need to achieve excellent staff retention. You will also need to keep up-to-date with current licensing legislation, ensure health and safety rules and, of course, ensure that the beer and wine are kept in good condition.
  • You will also undertake specific tasks and responsibilities given by the General Manager and encourage the culture to reflect the vision statement of ‘great value and delicious cooking in a buzzy atmosphere provided by a friendly and professional team enjoying themselves’.
  • This is a hands-on role that we think is both highly challenging and rewarding. Serving and looking after our customers is the primary function of our business - it is vital that we get the right personalities into our business and you must understand the notion of hospitality.
